Bensalem School Of Musical Arts offers a variety of affordable music lessons to students of all ages and varying experience levels. Like any learning experience, it is vital for the students to have a genuine interest in what they are learning. We work closely with our students at Bensalem School Of Musical Arts to build and teach an appropriate lesson structure for each individual student. We make sure that what you are learning is an interesting and enjoyable experience!
We will work with you to not only set, but achieve musical goals as you progress as a musician. Students will receive a framed certificate upon the completion of set goals and method books. To make this possible, we highly recommend practicing for at least 30 minutes a day. Regular practice of your instrument is the best way to excel as a musician. Once a year, Bensalem School Of Musical Arts holds a recital for its students to perform (optional) and showcase what they have learned over the past year. We look forward to working with you and helping you become the musician you aspire to be.

All of our students are introduced to classical music using variety of methods such as Alfred's, Suzuki, Thompson, and Bastien depending on the student's unique musical goal. These methods are used to teach our students the proper music theory. Aside from the curriculum, we also teach our students song from their favorite artist to keep the motivation and excitement for the student.
Most of the time, we start our beginners on a snare drum method to teach our students the proper technique on how to hold the sticks and rudimentary training. We teach them the basics of reading music on snare and playing in proper timing. Once we feel that the student understands these basic techniques, we then move them to a drum set method. The drum set method not only teaches the basics, but also teaches how to use all of the parts in a full drum kit.
All of our bass guitar students use the Hal Leonard method. We use this method to teach our students their music theory. Aside from the method book, we teach our bass students other styles such as slapping of the string, scales, bass chords, and tablature to help the student learn their favorite tunes as fast and quickly as possible.
All of our guitar students are introduced to classical music using the Mel Bay method or the Hal Leonard Method. These methods are used to teach our students the proper music theory. Aside from these methods, we also teach our students chords, scales, styles of rhythm, and tablature to help our students learn their favorite tunes as fast and quickly as possible.
Voice students choose what they want to sing unless the teacher recommends a song that would benefit the voice and learning for the child. Voice students will learn proper breathing and breathing support techniques. A lot of what we do is based on what the students want. Bensalem School Of Musical Arts wants to make things interesting and educational for everyone.
